Cape Florida Lightstation Today
- Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is located on Key Biscayne near Miami, Florida. The park is open year round with a $4 entrance fee plus a $1 fee to cross Rickenbacker Causeway. Lighthouse tours are free. The Lighthouse is located at the southern tip of the island. Need directions??
- Today the Lightstation is open for tours Thursday thru Monday. Tours begin at the Lightstation gate and are held at 10am and 1pm with a limit of 10 people per tour. Signup is one-half hour before the tour starts. Children younger than 8 are not allowed to climb the tower steps.
- May is Dade Heritage Days in Miami-Dade County. Sponsored by Dade Heritage Trust (DHT), a benefactor of the lighthouse, Cape Florida will be open for approximately 4 hours for self-guided tours. Please check the DHT website for dates.
- We are looking for volunteers to conduct tours. If you are interested please contact Park Management or the Beacon Keeper.
