View of the Keepers Cottage & Cook House Monument at Lightstation gate: 'The Save the Lighthouse Committee of Dade Heritage Trust, INC Recognizes Major Donors and Supporters of the Cape Florida Lighthouse Restoration. Dedicated 1991. Intercontinental Bank, The Crane Foundation, The Dunspaugh-Dalton Foundation.' You can tell by the color variation on the side of the tower that it really needs to be re-whitewashed. Rumor is that the tower will be repainted at the end of the 2002 Hurricane Season!! Vertical View of the tower from the eastern/ocean side = completely different perspective

~1918 or 1920

© unknown, mass produced? I have seen two photos of the tower for sale on ebay with different dates!

View of the Tower, looking north. There are at least 4 people at the base of the tower. Keepers Cottage is in ruins, destroyed by a hurricane and neglect; completely demolished in 1926 hurricane. This photo was a gift for purchasing the first one. It is a view down Coconut Alley, looking towards the base of the tower. Looks like at least 3 people standing at the base of the tower. Too bad the photo is so light. This photo was also a gift for purchasing the first one. The back of the photo says 'Deering Estate Biscayne Bay' which is located south of the Lighthouse on the mainland.
